Pinterest I created a Pinterest page with three boards all connect to TGC; international resources for schools, course resources, english, websites that promote globalization, and unit plan resources. All of the most useful readings, TED Talks, and resources are on this page, so this is like a one stop shop resource for learning about Global Education. https://www.pinterest.com/aalexandraaxell/ Global Competency Matrix The global competency matrix is a fantastic tool to help you understand what students should be doing to demonstrate the four global competencies; investigate the world, recognize perspectives, communicate ideas, and take action. It gives you a very clear idea on what this looks like when students demonstrate a competency. Click on the link to learn about the matrix and see the main matrix along with other more subject specific matrices. https://www.neafoundation.org/content/assets/2012/11/Global%20Competence%20Content-Area%20Matrices.pdf I've also included a documents for each of the four competencies that give you examples of what the students could do in the classroom to demonstrate that they can communicate ideas or recognize perspectives. I've starred the ones I've tried or want to try with my students. You might even find that you are already doing some of these activities with your students already!

Power Point Presentation on Global Education: During my online course I created a powerpoint to share with the staff at my school along with other colleagues. Thus far, I have shared this presentation with a cohort of first year teachers but plan to share this information at a staff meeting in the fall. The new teachers really enjoyed it and hopefully some of them were inspired to start to globalize their classroom as well. Please use this presentation for your needs!
